Support for individuals, communities, and organizations impacted by Tropical Storm Irene through:

  • Identification and referral if needed for more intensive supports


Is there a charge for SOS Services?

  • No! SOS services are free!

  • Staff are from your community
  • Coordination with existing community-based organizations, leaders, and service agencies
  • Provision of up-to-date information regarding aspects of disaster recovery

Where is SOS located?

In your community! SOS staff can:

  • Attend varied group and town meetings
  • Make individual contacts at homes and community settings

Is SOS Confidential?

Yes! No identifying information is needed to work with SOS staff
